I bought this mascara because I wanted to have a very natural effect on an everyday "no makeup " look. My eyelashes are already dark so the color didn't change anything for me. If you use this on your upper lashes it won't give any volume at all but that's okay I wasn't expecting that, however it didn't lengthen my lashes neither, or if I wanted some visible effect I had to reapply it. The brush is so thin that I don't find it convenient to grab the lashes. But if you use it for your lower lashes it is excellent and you can also use it for the corner lashes because it is very precise. The waterproof side is okay, it didn't smudge too much even for my oily eyelids. It is not hard to remove and it didn't irritate my eyes at all.
