I purchased this thinking I would feel enough heat to actually believe my pores were opening up, however you don't really feel anything while the mask is on your face. Any heat is activated with you start washing it off with lukewarm water, and even then it's very subtle. I wouldn't recommend this mask to open pores. I probably wouldn't purchased it again, especially for the price. My blackheads and whiteheads aren't banished either. I'll be on the lookout for a better pore mask. My favorite so far has been Biore, it's amazing.
