I bought this after trying a few samples because I was impressed by the product. The consistency is just slightly thicker than water but is still very fluid making it easy to apply and spread. The scent is light and goes away almost immediately, but its nothing bothersome. The brightening effect for me is almost instant and its also moisturizing. It soaks in quickly and doesn't leave a film on the skin.
