I adore this lipstick! I would say the consistency is like a lip tint and it appears matte. The color is beautiful, though I believe the color name is misleading. The color is much brighter and pink/fuschia then is indicated by the name "vintage wine". Nonetheless, I think it looks good on my medium/tan skin.
