I do understand the hype that surrounds this product, it has great (buildable) coverage, it's quick to put in the morning, the packaging is really convenient when you're on the go/traveling since you don't have to carry a few makeup brushes to apply and buffer the foundation. It still left me disappointed on some points. I really love this product when I just put a new refill in. you get the perfect amount of product on the sponge. However, when the cushion has been used a few times (3-5 times) it starts to be a hassle to get some product. you have to turn it around, press the sponge closer to the edge of the cushion (and you have to be careful when you do so, or the cushion will get out of its tray). Also, this formula is supposed to reduce pores and I didn't see that at all. Unlike other foundations, it wouldn't set in the pores, making them look like a half filled hole, but at the same time, they would still show just as much as without makeup. To end on a good note, LANEIGE is the only brand yet to make a shade 11, which is just pale enough for my skin, making it the only cushion foundation I can use for now. It also has a really nice finish, being dewy without looking oily.
