It makes your face heat up which is great for winter, but i didnt see any blackheads removed, maybe mine are just really stubborn and deep. But I also didnt feel like my face was very clean after using it either. I would use the innisfree volcanic clay  mask over this. Also hard to the product out and is very messy. I used it the first time and it went everywhere on the container and was stuck to the lid
